An ancient Nair family organized a celebration to share the memories of the Chingamahotsava. Manjula Thara Melam, which has been running for over a decade, was felicitated by the musicians who led it.

Padma Shri Peruvanam Kuttan Marar inaugurated the function which was presided over by A Venugopal, Community Patron and Senior Journalist. Musical talents Guruvayoor Jayaprakash, Sethu Guruvayoor, Shanmughan Thechiyil Murali, Vellat, P Venugopalan, Prabhakaran Moothedath, Asan and Murali, who played the role of Krishnanattam, were felicitated at the function. The gift was presented by Sri Peruvanam Kuttan Marar. Janu Guruvayoor, Anil Kallat, Ravi Chankath, Balan Varanath, Anthikkad Padmanabhan, Sasidharan Kenadath and Jayaram Alakkal spoke on the occasion. Congratulatory personalities delivered the keynote address.

Then Aishwarya dedicated the only lamp to Guruvayoorappan as part of the lamp offering.
